Cricut Cardz Challenge #85

This week's challenge over at www.cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com is to make a holiday card – anything goes! Make a card for any holiday you choose, using any cartridges, or colors you’d like. I chose to make a Christmas card for three reasons. 1. Christmas is my favorite holiday; 2. It has been SO hot here like everywhere else I am sure that I wanted to think of colder weather; and 3. In the month of July you hear alot of Christmas in July sales.
I used Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. I used the present image found on page 101 and cut 3 of them.  One at 3 inches, one at 2 1/2 inches and one at 2 inches.  I used DCWV Tis The Season stack and Recollections cardstock.  I used Martha Stewart punch. My sentiment is from Pink By Design Christmas Wishes, and I decorated the ribbon on the presents with Star Dust Stickles.  Hope you join us in this week's challenge.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

Doggie card

I purchased a couple of new stamp sets from a company that I have never used before from HSN.  The company's name is Penny Black.  They have the cutest stamps.  Here is a card made from the Critter Party stamp set. I used DCWV Ctirus stack, Fiskars punch, TPC Studio Fancy Flourish stamp set, Stampendous gold sparklers stickers and colored the doggie with colored pencils.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

My Pink Stamper Design Team Submission Follow Up

I wanted to post this to let you know that unfortunately I was not chosen at this time for My Pink Stamper design team, but everything happens for a reason, I truly believe that.  I will try again next time.  I want to congratulate all you were chosen to be on the team.  I look forward to seeing your submissions and following you on your blogs. A shout out to all who submitted projects! We did a great job.  Thanks to Robyn for all she does, and for hosting the opportunity.  :)

My Pink Stamper Design Team Submission

I am a big Robyn fan over at mypinkstamper.com, and she is having a design team call.  She asked us to make something using the colors orange, turquoise, green, brown and an optional color.  These colors reminded me of summer, so I used Life Is A Beach cartridge and added the optional color of yellow.

.I used Life Is A Beach Cricut cartridge and cut the hibiscus found on page 35 at 4 inches.  I used Bazzill cardstock, Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder on leaves, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder on flower, Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls embossing folder on cardstock, Glossy Accents and Crystal Stickles on flower and ribbon found at Walmart.  Wish me luck.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #83

For this week's challenge make a birthday card for a grandparent using any cartridges and any colors that you like.  I made this card for my only living Grandfather.  We call him Pop.  He turned 87 in February.  He is a true survivor! He has survived World War II and a tornado a couple of years ago that destroyed his home.  I love my Pop.  He is a sweetie.
I used Birthday Bash and cut the bird found on page 21 at 4 inches.  I also used Sizzix Little Sizzles Rainbow stack (I am trying to use paper that I just have stored in my closet), Crystal Stickles, My Pink Stamper Punnylicious stamps and Hampton Art Grandparents stamp.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

Sailboat card

I forgot to include this card in the many that I made for Father's Day.  I made this one for my father in law who likes sailboats and used to sail but cannot now due to physical limitations.  I used Life Is A Beach Cricut cartridge.  I cut the image on page 57 at 4 inches.  I also used Recollections cardstock, Hot Off The Press glimmer paper, K & Company Sea Glass pattern paper, Fiskars punch, and I inked the edges of the card.  Thanks for visiting me! :)
