This week's challenge is to make a Valentine's Day card for a child using any cartridge. I used Recollections cardstock, Martha Stewart ribbon loop punch, Stickles, Hero Arts stamps, and the designer paper is just some scraps that I had laying around. Thanks for visiting! Scrappy Mom's Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge

This week's challenge is to use the Birthday Bash cartridge.  I made a birthday card for my niece.  Her favorite animal is the buffalo.  I cut the buffalo (found on page 45) at 4 inches. Paper Company cardstock base, Coredinations cardstock, My Mind's Eye Party Time stack.  I used a white gel pen on the skates, since the pieces were too small and also used one of my favorite staples, Stickles - star dust.  Pink Stamper's Punnylicious and Hot off the Press stamps. Thanks for visiting me!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #57

This week's challenge is to make a card using any cartridges you like but use only the colors red, black and white.  This week's inspiration came from needing a 50th anniversary card for my in-laws. I used Plantin Schoolbook.  I cut out red hears at 3, 2 1/2 and 2 inches and then black hearts at 2 3/4 and 2 1/4 inches.  I popped them up on foam tape.  I used DCWV embossed cards and colored the embossed hearts with red colored pencil.  Join us in this week's challenge at cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

Happy New Year!!

I have been so negligent with my blog lately. I could make lots of different excuses, but I won't.  I plan on being a better blogger though.  Here is a card that I made recently for my niece. (Hi, Hannah!!) It has been VERY cold here, and we have been getting lots of snow lately, so I decided to stick with the winter theme and make this snowman card.  I used Snow Friends cartridge.  The snowman was cut at 4".  I used the Snowflakes cuttlebug folder, Recollections cardstock, DCWV Tis the Season stack (love this paper pack), icicle Stickles and Michaels ribbon. As I quote Barbara Johnson, "May your troubles last as long as your new year's resolutions"! Thanks for visiting me! :)
