Cricut Cardz Challenge #91 - "Things That Go Bump In The Night"

Cricut Cardz Challenge has now moved to www.cardztv.blogspot.com.  We have combined our two design teams into one, so please check out the great designs and inspiration that my fellow designers have come up with.  We hope it inspires you to join us in this challenge.  This week's challenge is "Things That Go Bump In The Night".  Make a card for Halloween with the spookiest, scariest image you can find on any cartridge and using any colors that you would like.  This time of year when I look outside at night there are these huge spider webs with these huge spiders in them.  That to me is icky and spooky.  This also freaks my sister out!! :) (Hi, Karen!) That is why I chose a spider for the focal of my challenge.
Recipe as follows:  Cricut cartridges:  Paper Doll Dress Up and Doodlecharms, DCWV La Creme cardstock, Recollections cardstock, K & Company Sleepy Tree seasonal pack pattern paper, Accents Essentials and Martha Stewart glitter.    Thanks for visiting me and watch for these spiders!! :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #85

This week's challenge over at www.cricutcardzchallenge.blogspot.com is to make a holiday card – anything goes! Make a card for any holiday you choose, using any cartridges, or colors you’d like. I chose to make a Christmas card for three reasons. 1. Christmas is my favorite holiday; 2. It has been SO hot here like everywhere else I am sure that I wanted to think of colder weather; and 3. In the month of July you hear alot of Christmas in July sales.
I used Christmas Cheer Cricut cartridge. I used the present image found on page 101 and cut 3 of them.  One at 3 inches, one at 2 1/2 inches and one at 2 inches.  I used DCWV Tis The Season stack and Recollections cardstock.  I used Martha Stewart punch. My sentiment is from Pink By Design Christmas Wishes, and I decorated the ribbon on the presents with Star Dust Stickles.  Hope you join us in this week's challenge.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

My Pink Stamper Design Team Submission

I am a big Robyn fan over at mypinkstamper.com, and she is having a design team call.  She asked us to make something using the colors orange, turquoise, green, brown and an optional color.  These colors reminded me of summer, so I used Life Is A Beach cartridge and added the optional color of yellow.

.I used Life Is A Beach Cricut cartridge and cut the hibiscus found on page 35 at 4 inches.  I used Bazzill cardstock, Cuttlebug Divine Swirl embossing folder on leaves, Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder on flower, Cuttlebug Birds and Swirls embossing folder on cardstock, Glossy Accents and Crystal Stickles on flower and ribbon found at Walmart.  Wish me luck.  Thanks for visiting me! :)

Other Father's Day cards

Hello! Yes, sorry, I know.  Father's Day has come and gone, but I wanted to post a couple of more cards that I made for that special man in my life.
I used Country Life for this card.  I cut the image found on page 33 at 5 inches. My husband gardens and does a a lot of yard work since we have over three acres of land, but he does not necessarily like it all that much. That is why I made the grumpy face on the farmer.  He got a big kick out of it! I used Recollections cardstock, K & Company Greenhouse pattern paper, brads and Peachy Keen stamps.
This other card was for my daughter to give to my dad (her Pop-Pop).  He LOVES to fish, and they are the best of buddies.  He is like a dad to her.  She is almost 19, and they are extremely close and always have been.  I used Life's A Beach and cut the fish on page 50.  I used Recollections card stock, DCWV Latte cardstock (I love this stack - I am getting lots of good use out of it!), AC card stock, Fiskars punch, googly eyes and Aqua Stickles.
Thanks so much for visiting me!! :)

3. I would LOVE to have an Imagine next.

My fellow designers always come up with GREAT cards! And I can't wait to see what you come up with as well.  I used Country Life cartridge page 60.  I cut the image at 5 inches.
