Thanks to all of my followers! :) I have reached 10 followers. This may not sound like a big number to the more famous bloggers out there, but for a beginner it is a big deal. And I know there are some of you who look at my blog often (Hi, Hannah!) but do not have a Google account so thanks to you also!

TIP: When you are scrapbooking, save your scraps and make a card while all of your supplies are out. When I make cards, I make two at a time. This way I have one on hand for someone else for another occasion. I made this card for my niece for her birthday, and while I had all the supplies out on my craft table, I made one for my daughter as well "just because" she likes cupcakes. I used Straight From the Nest Cricut cartridge, Spots and Dots Cuttlebug folder, and "Just Because" stamp from Paper Wishes. I used glitter cardstock from DCVW. I decorated the sprinkles on the cupcake with Stickles. The cupcake ribbon is from Michaels. I just love the ribbon! :)

Me and my eleven year old niece exchange homemade cards back and forth. She lives about five hours away so we write to one another and make our own cards. She really impresses me with the cards that she makes. Maybe she will let me put some of her cards on here to share. I made this card for her using the Cricut Create A Critter cartridge. I just love that cartridge - one of my favorites. Maybe Provo Craft will come out with a version two of this cartridge. Most of the paper that I use is just cardstock that I have either gotten from Michaels or Sam's Club sold a cardstock paper pack for a while. I just love the acorns paper. That is from K and Company. Greenhouse is the name of the paper pack.

This is my very first blog. I wanted to keep a diary of the cards that I made and also to share with other bloggers. This card is a card that I gave to my nephew for his birthday who turned four years old. He absolutely loves trains so when I found a train image on the Cricut Create A Critter cartridge, I just had to make it. I drew the train tracks shown on the card.
